The truth about why CrossFit training is better than Personal Training

When it comes to working out, we all want fast results.

We want to learn how to do the exercises correctly now, we want to get in shape now and if all that doesn’t happen we will quit two weeks after starting out.

This pattern is less likely to appear if we join a class where the coach is attentive to our form and where fellow athletes check up on us if we skip a day or two of training.  

It’s about feeling supported – by your coach and your community, building friendships and having fun.

A Crossfit gym offers all the assets of a personal training session – and more:

The coach is the trainer

Even though there’s a group in each class, the coach to member ratio is low so the coach can keep an eye on everyone. Our coaches are present and available. They will come to you and correct your form or ask them questions if you are in doubt, they will gladly assist you.

Everyone is welcome

There’s no particular level of fitness required to start Crossfit. All the movements are designed to be modified so first time exercisers, as well as experienced athletes, are welcome to attend our workouts.

You won’t skip your training

The CrossFit Hawthorn East community will count you as a part of their team and will try to find out why you didn’t show up to your usual workout. That’s one of the reasons why we will keep coming back. We belong to a community who wants us to get fit and support us the whole way.

When it’s tough to get motivated, we’ll still want to hang out with our CrossFit squad and we’ll show up.

A healthy lifestyle – naturally

CrossFit is a sport which requires a healthy lifestyle. As we progress and learn to perfect our form we will be reminded that eating, sleeping and resting is part of a CrossFitter’s life. It all happens naturally so we don’t feel like we’re on a diet or forcing ourselves. It’s the best way to take a new habit onboard and keep it for a lifetime.
